  • infinitely adjustable intermediate ring
  • bayonet mount on the back
  • Of course, focal lengths around 50 mm are best suited.

A special macro lens for your mirrorless system camera is too expensive for you?
But you still have magnification lenses from your own B&W lab with an M39 mount? Or photo lenses with an M42 camera thread, perhaps from analog camera equipment? Then simply turn these old "treasures" into your own macro lens.
The B.I.G. macro screw is an infinitely adjustable intermediate ring. A single turn is enough to change the length sensitively. With the rear bayonet connection, it fits perfectly on your mirrorless system camera. At the front, you can use the direct M42 connection or - with the enclosed adapter ring - M39.
This allows you to achieve a relatively large scale (approx. 1:1.5) and still remain far enough away from the subject to be able to stage it with the appropriate light or to avoid casting a shadow on the subject. Magnification lenses with their compact design and light weight naturally have advantages here.
