  • Wide RS camera for digital backs
  • Allows shift movements and switching from landscape to portrait in seconds without shifting the optical center
  • With interchangeable interface for Hasselblad, Leaf, Phase One and Sinar digital backs
  • Horizontal shift: 40mm
  • Vertical shift: 40mm

The Cambo WRS-1600 series is a new member of the Wide RS family, made of high quality aluminum as used in aerospace applications.

Movements are driven by accelerated spindle gears operated by easy-grip XL-sized stainless steel drive knobs. These precision gears provide architectural photographers with many of the image shifts they need, and give digital photographers the ability to create amazing vertical and horizontal panoramas by stitching together multiple shots.
A unique feature of the WRS-1600 is the ability to rotate the entire camera/lens/back assembly in the tripod mount between landscape and portrait modes in seconds, without removing any part and leaving the optical center in the same position.

In addition, many of the lens panels can be purchased with an optional tilt-swing capability to add Scheimpflug adjustments for increased depth of field, both in the horizontal and vertical planes, or intentional selective focus where needed.

Like the other Cambo Wide models, the WRS-1600 has interchangeable interfaces for Hasselblad, Leaf, Phase One and Sinar digital backs. Mounts are available for Hasselblad V, Hasselblad-H, PhaseOne-DF/XF, Mamiya 645DF and Contax 645AF compatible camera backs. A special interface plate for Leaf AFi and Sinar HY6 backs is also available.
To handle virtually any architectural or landscape task, the Wide RS can be equipped with all WDS lenses, which include Schneider Digitar and Rodenstock Digital lenses. Choose from focal lengths from 23mm to 180mm and more on request.
