  • compact and lightweight tripod
  • Total weight: 910 g
  • maximum load capacity of tripod and ball head is 6 kg each
  • Working height from 325 up to 1,170 mm
  • with optional center column 1,495 mm

Nature is practically the nature of the compact and lightweight Leofoto Ranger tripods. Every gram and every millimetre counts on days of photo stalking in order to minimize the volume and weight of the luggage. However, all pieces of equipment must not only save space and weight, but also meet very high requirements. Stability under all circumstances, that is the requirement. The material, carbon, ensures the required lightness. Its stability and freedom from vibration "grows" with the number of layers.

Leofoto Ranger RF-224C carbon tripod - compact, therefore ideal for traveling
It is not at all impractical that such a light tripod does not have a built-in center column. It is included in the set and can be screwed on if required. But sometimes you only want to travel with the minimum of photographic equipment. However, the center column included in the set increases the working height of the Ranger RF-224C carbon tripod by up to 325 mm - from 1,170 mm to 1,495 mm. On the other hand, the legs of the Ranger RF-224 carbon tripod can even be spread out so far that a working height of a flat 135 mm is achieved - a perfect basis for macro photography just above the ground. The tripod legs each consist of four segments with diameters of 22, 19, 16 and 13 mm.

Leofoto LH-25 ball head - very small, but powerful and precise
This small ball head is precisely manufactured from CNC-milled, black anodized aircraft aluminium and comes with a built-in spirit level. The power of this "flyweight" (only 172 grams) is not immediately apparent. However, the Leofoto LH-25 ball head "lifts" a very decent 6 kg load! The low overall height of only 67 mm keeps the center of gravity low. This also reduces unwanted vibrations. With a 3/8" tripod thread and a large wing nut, the latter for locking the ball (diameter 25 mm) in the desired position. Velvety-soft adjustment and smooth-running 360° panorama function. The scale on the tripod plate facilitates precise adjustment. Vertical tilting of the ball is possible up to 90°. Attaching and removing cameras is a breeze with the built-in quick-release coupling including PU-25 QR camera plate of the Arca-Swiss type.
