The new H8 takes mobile audio recording to a whole new level for musicians, podcasters and sound designers. The H8's ingenious color touchscreen user interface offers the radical yet intuitive "3-way" app workflow navigation you'd expect from a smartphone. whether you're recording music, field recording or professional podcasts, the H8 instantly adapts to the functions required for the task at hand.

The new H8 easily achieves Zoom's industry-leading sound quality through its legendary and transparent preamps. It offers unrivaled reliability in every recording session thanks to its high performance. With four XLR, two XLR/TRS combo jacks and 4 capsule inputs, the H8 can record up to 12 tracks simultaneously and you can quickly and easily adjust gain, lo-cut, EQ, compression, limiter, noise gate and much more.
In addition, the H8 can be remotely controlled via an IOS device and you can load your own effects via the Guitar Labs software.(optional BTA-1 required) For podcasters, the H8 has 4 sound pads for playing sound effects such as laughter or applause. You can choose from 13 preset sounds or load your own sound effects from SD card. The H8's new Capsule System 2.0* offers even more flexibility with brand new high-end microphone and input connections as well as full backward compatibility with the H6's capsules.
