Walimex pro Full HD Monitor Director III
Brilliant image thanks to Full HD resolution (1920x1200)
Can be used for DSLR, CSC cameras or camcorders
IPS LCD panel ensures a realistic image experience
Rich black and brilliant colors thanks to a contrast value of 1200:1
Monitor brightness of 450cd/m²
with HDMI and AV input
Headphone socket for acoustic monitoring of sound recording
Also included is the Walimex pro NP-F charger 1000mA, with which you can charge the supplied NP-F960 Li-Ion battery in a short time.
External monitor for easy working
External monitors are very important when filming with DSLR and CSC cameras. In particular, it is not possible to judge the exact focus on the small camera monitors. A large display, a focus assistant (peaking) and zebra marking of overexposed areas are important aids and often determine the quality and professionalism of film recordings.
IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution
IPS LCD displays are ideal for film recordings thanks to their high color accuracy and strong color reproduction. IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology reduces the dependence of the contrast on the picture angle. This means that there are fewer changes in colors and contrasts even when the picture angle is changed.
Software assistants for technical support
The walimex pro Director III has all the usual assistants to support you with your shots. A focus assistant is used to trace high contrast edges in color. Thanks to its support, focusing movements can be implemented more precisely and quickly. The zebra setting marks overexposed areas. The sensitivity of the brightness display can be defined in 5% steps. A histogram is also used to check the brightness distribution. A volume display can be switched on for visual monitoring of the sound signal. You can monitor the incoming audio signal acoustically via a 3.5 mm jack socket.
Feedback of the audio signal
Feedback can occur when a loudspeaker plays back the signal from a microphone and the microphone picks up this signal again at the same time. The signal is amplified, played back via the loudspeaker and an electro-acoustic loop is created. The walimex pro Director III has a loudspeaker box to play back filmed recordings acoustically.
The Director III offers the following measures to avoid feedback during the filming process:
1.Turn the volume of the monitor to "zero"
2.Set the "Mute" switch in the menu to "on"
3. Use headphones
4. Ensure sufficient distance between the monitor and microphone (external)
